Thank you for wanting to support the queer or trans young person in your life!
All of you in the groups named in this section (friends' parents, religious and youth group leaders, coaches, camp directors and counselors, neighbors, and parents of a teens' significant other) are so important. There's not enough information (yet!) about each group online to make up an entire section. But that doesn't mean that your support and affirmation can't make a huge difference.
Here are a few places you could use as starting-points:
- Supporting the Transgender People in Your Life: A Guide to Being a Good Ally
- How to Support Someone Who's Trans and Just Came Out to You
- Grief (Trans Hub)
The information in the rest of this section will give helpful context, as well as specific tips on how you can make that difference.

Depending on your screen size, the following "flippy cards" are in descending order, from the top of the top column to the bottom of the second column. They're sorted by the percentage of survey-takers who ranked each group as an important audience for Reflecting Rainbow Tweens & Teens.
