"There are struggles that can come with each identity, so with each intersection it can feel like multiplication, with the way they feed into higher rates of mental health disorders."
"It feels like additional chains dragging you down at times. It helps if the marginalized identity is not visible, but you can't hide some things."
"When you are another marginalized person you don't see as much representation and you might think that you can't be queer too because you don't see other people like you."
"We are not less of a being" because we have these other identities. "I struggle with depression, social anxiety disorder, and inattentive ADHD."

Racism in the LGBTQIA community is real. White people don't get to define what being gay is for everyone else. We cannot and should not divide ourselves.
"there is a constant sense of insecurity added onto the worry of getting hate crimed for being queer."
I'm really privileged. So it's my responsibility to lift up and learn from my queer peers who have intersecting oppressions.
"I feel people forget their privilege at times."
