My identity is who I am. It's not going to change.
Some of us knew our identities when we were toddlers.
I wasn't confused when I figured out I was gay at 11; I knew who I was.
I figured out I was trans during puberty, even if I didn't yet know that word.
If we have a new name or pronouns, respect them.
Being true to ourselves make us so much happier than pretending to be something we're not.
I'm still the same person. Now I just know more about myself and can continue to learn more about my identity.
I finally have language to describe who I've always been.
