Adults overall
Sometimes, I don't correct people if they use the wrong pronouns. When that happens, there's a reason for that. Don't correct them for me.
I'm excited to be who I am! Talk about it with me. If you don't, "it makes me feel small."
Parents
Parents "need have conversations with their partners and other extended family about what's going on so it won't be confusing and shocking when their queer relatives act differently."
Teachers
I "had a couple teachers hide my identity from the administration when i came out to my class as trans over snapchat. i came out a month before graduation and they were determined to see me graduate (went to a christian school so probably would've been expelled). kinda still wished i didnt have to hide and wear a dress through graduation, that instead they fought the administration, but it's all behind me now."

![Two white adults are marching in a parade or protest. One, who presents as a woman, is wearing a PFLAG t-shirt and carrying a sign that reads, "I LOVE MY TRANS KID!" The other adult presents as a man and has a sign that says, "I [heart] my trans child."](https://reflectingrainbowtweensandteens.lgbt/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/I-love-my-trans-kid.jpg)
