An adult white woman with purple hair holds up a sign that reads, "TRANS AND GNC YOUTH WE LOVE YOU WE SEE YOU WE STAND WITH YOU."

You are, sadly, not alone.

Make connections with providers in states without these bans so you have people to whom you can refer your young TGNC patients/clients.

If your child has received care at a hospital that has been subpoenaed by the Trump administration, check out this critical to-do list that will help you know how to respond.

If you live near the border of a less bigoted state, can you set up office in the other state? What would that require for licensure? I'm not unaware of the huge logistical and financial challenges to undertaking this task. But it may be a possibility for some providers.

Work with trans or trans-friendly legal firms that may be willing to take up a case on your behalf or on behalf of your patients/clients.

Talk to your local or state legislators. Let them know how this ban is impacting your practice and, more importantly, your patients'/clients' lives.

I'll update this section as additional strategies appear. This situation is so very new in the US. But there are lots of super smart people working super hard to figure out the best approaches here.
