A photo shows two boys lounging on the grass. One has his head in the other's lap. Both have dark hair. Their skin isn't Black but is otherwise hard to place because the photo is black & white.

Hey, yo! Read this stuff first!

You'll find important background information and a whole lot more resources in this section's main page. So go check it out!

I have seen very few of the films below. May be worth checking out before you share some of these with a younger queer or trans person.

The sources listed by each movie are ones i found in the first page of a Google search, alphabetized. They aren't necessarily the only place to see them. If you don't have access to the one(s) listed, Google it to see where else you may be able to watch each.

Also, see if there are any queer/trans LGBTQA+/SGL film festivals near you. You can see some amazing movies that way.

Notation reminders (A small image of a book, laying open with its spine flat and one page mid-turn and *):

  • Sources preceded by a book (A small image of a book, laying open with its spine flat and one page mid-turn) will teach you your (our) queer and trans history.
  • Everything that's preceded by a red asterisk (*) is a source recommended by my survey-takers.

If you're 25 or younger, which of the following words describes how you think of yourself? (Select all that apply.)

If you're 25 or younger, which word(s) do you use to refer to adults? (Select all that apply.)

If you answered either of those questions, how old are you?
