You'll find important background information and a whole lot more resources in this section's main page. So go check it out!
Notation reminders (
and *):
I'm including this section because such a large part of queer-antagonism and trans-antagonism comes from people's religion. But, at the same time, we can't assume that religious people are automatically opponents.
The resources in this section are organizations that advocate within their faith, books focused on a particular faith, or websites that have information on multiple faiths. Some of the resources below are written specifically for religious leaders. But most are for anyone of (a particular) faith.
I have not included links to news articles, particular congregations, or individuals (usually). By dint of the fact that the US is such a Christian-dominated country, most of the resources below are for Christians; that does not mean that other faiths have no issues to deal with or are not worthy of attention.
I have not been able to find any resources for all faiths. If you know of any that aren't here, please send them my way!
